Dollars are out, Euros are in..and people like Warren Buffett, Jay-Z and that one Victoria's Secret model Giselle are demanding to get paid in any other currency BUT ours. Do I find this a little scary? Hell yea. I can't help but think that the American economy is pretty much fucked for the time being and for a long time to come. The dollar has been depreciating for a while now, hitting an all-time low around the end of November and it's still not looking good. As of today, this is what the exchange rate looks like : 1 Euro = 1.4403 U.S. dollars. Man, I don't want to sound like a downer, but really..what the hell? Jay-Z's new video "Blue Magic" (above) has him flashing euro..but really, all I want to see him flash are a few hundreds here and there. Is that too much of a request?
